L’esigenza di avere uno stemma proprio emerge in seguito alla “separazione” dell’Istituto dalla Società Salesiana. Infatti, in una delle sedute del Consiglio generale in data 26 luglio 1905 si prende in considerazione il fatto, e si stabilisce di farlo preparare per poi sottoporlo all’approvazione del Capitolo generale. Nel verbale dell’adunanza si legge: “Si è determinato di presentare al Capitolo Generale un timbro o bollo da adottarsi per tutta la Congregazione”.
