Quelques mois plus tard, le 8 décembre 1891, à la demande de l’évèque de Liège, V.-J. Doutreloux, les Salésiens de Don Bosco ouvraient leur première maison en Belgique. Il y a plus qu’une coincidence entre ces deux événements.
