Nel centenario della prima edizione del Mese di Maggio scritto da Don Bosco ci sia lecito ricordare questo opuscolo fortunato, che nel giro di un anno potè avere quattro edizioni; ricordarlo come opera di un santo volgarizzatore di dottrina ascetica e divulgatore della caratteristica divozione del Mese mariano.
