This article approaches the theme of Salesian pedagogy of life choice and vocation on three levels of argumentation.
The “Salesians of Don Bosco” (SDB) are the largest Catholic religious order with a primary focus on youth ministry and education. If we observe its action in synergy with the whole Salesian Family, uniting more than 30 congregations, institutes, associations and movements, we can state that the Salesian Youth Ministry influences millions of young people worldwide through schools, youth centres, parishes, missionary centres, informal activities, volunteering, and animation.
El artículo se aproxima al tema de la pedagogía salesiana de la elección y de la vocación desde tres niveles.
Il Progetto Educativo-Pastorale Salesiano (PEPS) è stato uno dei temi centrali del ripensamento postconciliare della missione salesiana. L’importanza del progettare riflette un cambio complesso di accentuazioni, avvenuto negli anni del dopo Concilio, da un’educazione fedele ai modelli del passato e spesso ripetitiva verso un’impostazione critica della pedagogia che guarda al futuro.
Partendo dalla distinzione di Giovanni Bosco, l’articolo analizzerà due filoni di metodologie preventive: uno più repressivo e l’altro più promozionale. Le due metodologie saranno collegate con le rispettive antropologie sottostanti che si rapportano con il principio religioso in modalità diverse.
Questo estratto affronta la necessità per la congregazione salesiana di riscoprire e aggiornare la sua missione, bilanciando il rispetto per il passato di Cristo evangelico e di Don Bosco con l’impegno nella Chiesa e nel mondo attuale.
Viviamo un momento storico che viene qualificato, e a ragione, come profondo cambio epocale. Un cambiamento che si esprime e si percepisce in una grande molteplicità di aspetti e di ambiti. Uno di questi, di grande importanza, è quello che potremmo chiamare di vera labilità polisemica dei concetti e dei termini che usiamo.
