The “Salesians of Don Bosco” (SDB) are the largest Catholic religious order with a primary focus on youth ministry and education. If we observe its action in synergy with the whole Salesian Family, uniting more than 30 congregations, institutes, associations and movements, we can state that the Salesian Youth Ministry influences millions of young people worldwide through schools, youth centres, parishes, missionary centres, informal activities, volunteering, and animation.

Ha adempiuto il suo compito con un bel vigore astratto. Esso forse dispiacerà a qualche spirito diffidente riguardo a ciò che sa di logomachia. Essi potranno passare subito ad esposizioni di lettura meno ardua.
L’estratto fornisce un’occhiata a un importante colloquio tenuto a Lione nel 1968 e poi a Benediktbeuern, in Germania, nel 1969, incentrato sulla missione salesiana nella Chiesa cattolica.
Don Bosco a reçu de nombreuses lettres tout au long de sa vie. Dans les années 1880, il en recevait parfois plus de cent par jour. Il aurait lui-même écrit probablement plus de vingt mille lettres, dont une centaine en français et un petit nombre en espagnol, anglais et allemand. Dans une lettre datée du 8 juin 1880 adressée à don Monateri, il mentionne avoir reçu une multitude de lettres.
