Nel giorno della Festa del nostro Santo Fondatore, il Commento alla Strenna: Fedeltà a Don Bosco Santo. Don Ricaldone è lieto di comunicare il felice esito della Congregazione Generale sulle virtù eroiche della Serva di Dio Madre Maria Mazzarello, prima Superiora dell’Istituto delle Figlie di Maria Ausiliatrice fondate dal nostro Padre San Giovanni Bosco. Col cuore straziato Don Ricaldone comunica che sono dolorose le poche e incerte le notizie giunte dalle cinquantadue case che la Famiglia Salesiana aveva nella cattolica Polonia, così tragicamente provata. Centinaia e centinaia sono i Confratelli e Suore travolti nell’immane sventura. Al tempo stesso esorta quanto sa e può i Signori Ispettori e Direttori a prendersi le più affettuose cure dei Confratelli sotto le armi: li seguano colla preghiera, con frequenti lettere, e con tutti quegli aiuti che possano loro procurare.
