Le Recteur Majeur est rentré il y a peu de temps d’un voyage fatigant — le plus long de tous — qui l’a amené à faire le tour de la sphère terrestre. Maintenant, il a une vision directe (même si incomplète) de notre présence parmi les différents peuples de la terre. Il a particulièrement ressenti les appels de plus en plus pressants qui viennent aujourd’hui de l’hémisphère sud : outre le projet-Afrique, nos débuts de présences en Polynésie, en Indonésie, en Mélanésie, au Sri Lanka. The Rector Major has just returned from an extensive journey, the longest one he has undertaken, which involved circling the globe. Through his travels, he has gained first-hand knowledge, albeit incomplete, of the Salesian presence in various nations worldwide. He highlights the growing appeal from the southern hemisphere, particularly evident through initiatives like Project Africa and the establishment of young foundations in Polynesia, Melanesia, Indonesia, and Sri Lanka.
