Filippo Crispolti – Don Bosco
Nel 1841, Don Giovanni Bosco iniziò la sua opera accogliendo un ragazzo povero e abbandonato a cui insegnò catechismo nella sagrestia della chiesa di S. Francesco d’Assisi a Torino. Ventisei anni dopo la sua morte, una statistica pubblicata dal Senatore del Regno, Barone Antonio Manno, in occasione del concorso del Municipio di Torino per un monumento internazionale a Don Bosco, mostrava lo straordinario sviluppo delle sue istituzioni.
