“D. Bosco, convocando nel 1877, il l ° Capitolo Generale, disse: “Il Capitolo Generale farà prendere un nuovo aspetto alla Congregazione: sarà un gran passo”. E il 5 settembre dello stesso anno, quando se ne fece l’apertura, pronunciò queste parole: “L’importanza di questo Capitolo sta in ciò: che le regole riescano pratiche, cioè che si studino i mezzi per ottenere che, in pratica, si eseguiscano uniformemente in tutte le Case”. Non trovo parole migliori per  lasciare a voi un ultimo pensiero a suggello di quanto fu detto e fatto.
