Michele Rua – “Vigilanza” in “Lettere circolari di Don Michele Rua ai salesiani”

Ai maestri, agli assistenti, ai capi di laboratorio il Venerabile Padre fa appello, mostrando quanto anch’essi possano giovare, perchè regni la moralità nelle case. Il buon Padre, con particolare unzione inculca a tutti i suoi figli di regolare la loro condotta in modo che nessuno degli alunni o dipendenti loro possa gettar in faccia il noto proverbio: medice, cura te ipsum.

Nell’anniversario della morte del Venerabile Fondatore e Padre, don Rua sente irresistibile bisogno di rivolgere di nuovo qualche parola e alcune riflessioni sullo stato della cara Congregazione e sopra loro stessi. In questa giornata, dovrebbe essere naturale immaginare che D. Bosco dal cielo, ove per giudizio infallibile della Chiesa si trova, ripeta, con un’efficacia senza pari, alcuni insegnamenti e varie utilissime raccomandazioni, che si udivano dalle sue labbra durante la sua carriera mortale.
