Thomas Anchukandam – “Kristu Jyoti college, Bangalore: the history and significance of the opening of the first Salesian institution in the archdiocese of Bangalore – Part III” in “Ricerche Storiche Salesiane”

The second part of this study published in the previous issue of this journal had situated Kristu Jyoti College in its wider historical context.

It had also dwelt at some length on the construction, the inauguration and the orientation given to both staff and students by the Rector Major, the Archbishop, the Rector and other Superiors responsible for the priestly formation of the Salesians in India.

La seconda parte di questo studio, pubblicata nel numero precedente di questa rivista, aveva situato il Kristu Jyoti College nel suo più ampio contesto storico. Si era anche soffermato a lungo sulla costruzione, l’inaugurazione e l’orientamento dato al personale e agli studenti dal Rettor Maggiore, dall’Arcivescovo, il Rettore e gli altri Superiori responsabili della formazione sacerdotale dei Salesiani in India.
