The Rector Major’s visits to various parts of the Congregation have revealed the keen interest of Provinces and local communities in the guidelines of GC24. Some are just beginning to engage with the material, while others have already started implementing concrete suggestions for animating educational and pastoral communities, the Salesian Family, and the Salesian Movement.
He is convinced of the effectiveness of these three working environments, which enable the integration of numerous laypeople, allowing for the utilization of their vocational and professional skills in alignment with the Salesian spirit. Through appropriate formative processes, they become partners in the responsibility for the Salesian mission.
