In recent meetings with provincials and confreres, the suggestion was made to the Rector Major that occasionally he should interrupt the series of doctrinal letters and instead share impressions and news of the Congregation and the Church from his own perspective, almost in the style of a Good Night message. The Rector Major is trying this approach willingly. Currently, the Provinces are deeply engaged in the comprehensive and systematic implementation of GC24. This entails not only organizational proficiency but also a deeper understanding of Salesian spirituality, reflection on our educational heritage, and the enhancement of our ability for animation as Salesians with a sufficient reservoir of ideas and skills. Therefore, they have ample material to keep them occupied.
